TECHNOLOGY

Technology is changing the way faculty teach and students learn. Faculty, staff and administrators need to understand what technology can and what it cannot do. Others see technology as a critical complement to the educational experience, opening more opportunities for the learner than can be encompassed by one campus. Both visions are possible, but the first not particularly desirable.

Learning with the Internet

The use of the internet has become a prominent source of information for many people worldwide. Many people are trying to determine how to effectively employ and harness these new opportunities which will increase the positive learning experiences that students will encounter.

STUDENT WITH DISABILITIES AND TECHNOLOGY

By using computing technology for tasks such as reading and writing documents, communicating with others, and searching for information on the Internet, students with disabilities are capable of handling a wider range of activities independently.
